Interesting in that most usually give credit for the VW design to Porsche and "his team" of engineers. It's nice to see Komenda get recognition for his contributions.
And on a side note.............his political nuetrality in wartime Germany is extremely noteworthy. I cannot even begin to imagine a German citizen not giving the "Heil salute" directly to Hitler. And referring to him (to his face) as simply Herr Hitler...............whoa! Gutsy guy.
