Ok here's a couple more:
[albumimg]743[/albumimg]
[albumimg]742[/albumimg]
Still trying to get more history from the P.O.
We're the 3rd owners, 2nd owner only put 300 miles on in 2 years! Car was bought new in Seattle, then moved to Vancouver Wa. Spent it's life as a driver for an older gent. All original except the engine, which looks to be a new Mexican S/P (with a slight exhaust leak at the heater pipe crap looks like I gotta replace it...can that be done with engine in the car? I thin so...)
No rust in the pans, even under the battery. Original carpeting and upholstery in excellent condition. AM radio still works but probably won't get much use. Sure is SMALL in there! I'm spoil't with the bus. Sure is fun to drive tho.
Tristessa, no tow bar sorry to say. Just that ugly bracket.

Wow that's a sweet looking bug! Can't beat original. What was the price tag?

You were so excited you quoted yourself!
$2900 yikes but $ well spent. Unrestored except for the engine and external paint.
Weird, we had keys made today, and now only the new duplicate works, the duplicate that came with the car won't fit the ignition any more WHAT THE HELL!?!!
Spooky...

$2900's not bad at all for the condition it's in. I really like the color. If you haven't figured out yet, I'm an earth tone kind of guy. :profileleft:

Yes, it's funny you mention that, I thought of you when I saw the color.
I still want to get a solid beater to fix up for my daughter.

When you get the beater you outta fix it up right. Polished 8-spokes, dumped in the weeds, loud stinger, flat black paint.

It's simple really just buy a Vanagon or a late model watercooled. Problem solved! :drunken:
The Beetle has been a great around town car. Much more fun in the city than the bus.
I had to go to buy compost yesterday, so I drove the bus. Amazing how well it handles being fully loaded! How does that lil' engine do all it does?
