spoke with Richard, still has it, really really anxious to just get it out of the way, spoke to the local repair shop and will have it towed over likely Monday afternoon for initial inspection and get a repair plan in place.
once it's rolling and stopping, ill start reading up more and learning to speak beetle so I can tackle things on my own, but before I bring it home to the driveway id like to just get it to where it'll drive safely.
