I have 3 NOS Type 1 T-Stats left $80.00 ea

I have 3 used Type 1 (no expansion, like new) T-Stats left $60.00

I am not exactly a wrench, but I am somewhat familiar with VWs and I have absolutely no clue what in hell a "T-stat" is.
Maybe I know it under a different name? Clues for the clueless?

I have heard they will work on type iv with mods.. Can someone confirm? Still haven't decided if I'm gonna run one or not.

There is a kit for the conversion, although not sure if anyone on here has tried one. We had the discussion about creating something that would replace the thermostat completely, have not yet.
